History
The Dawn of an Empire
When does this story begin? Does it begin when the legendary, Queen Grace was born? Or does the beginning starts when her great-grandfather led a rebellion against the evil dragon Achren?
Five Century ago a new civilization emerged; from where did they come from no one is clear. This civilization called themselves “The Shiskov” (They are still known as one of the newest Civilization.) But not very long after their existence they were attacked and enslaved by the Dragons.
For four centuries they were enslaved. They made constant rebellion, but no one ever succeeded. A man named Prydain Heffner who was heir of the old Royal family, set out of Mount Dragon, and went for a quest to find a legendary and mythical Staff called Odalis. It was believed that Odalis was the only Mortal weapon that could destroy the Dragon Achren. Prydain promised to come back with the staff and with the staff he will free The Lands of the Shizkov.
Come back he did, He was successful in finding the staff. He grabbed a handful of loyal followers and led a surprise attack against Achren.
Prydain challenged the Dragon to fight, and the battle began. Many men died, but they still did not retreat. Prydain later casted a powerful fire spell and turned the Dragon into ashes.
Prydain later was named the king of the Shizkov. He was given the nickname “The High King”. He had two sons Drynwyn and Fflewddur and a daughter called Venus.
Prydain “The High King” Heffner made his oldest son Drynwyn the most powerful sword Shizkov ever created and the sword was named after him. Fflewddur always like hunting and was a skilled marksman so he was promoted to a general of the 4rth Battalion (a battalion only for archers) known as the Dead Shots.
Prydain decided to pass Odalis to his only daughter, but one day Venus mysteriously disappeared. After her disappearance Prydain passed his thrown to Drynwyn and made Fflewddur into Lord, and went to the woods for his search of his disappeared daughter. It is believed he died in the woods but his body could never be found.
Drynwyn Heffner was named king and the staff was given to him. Drynwyn married and had three sons. Hugh Acosta, Arawn, and Connor of the Saints. Fflewddur never married.
Drynwyn named Gabriel the Dark as his counselor. Gabriel was also master of Arawn because Drynwyn wanted to give the staff to him.
In Drynwyn rule he boosted Shizkov economy and expanded their land.
The Betrayal
Just when Shiskov was at their first golden age, Gabriel the Dark betrayed Drynwyn, because of his own greed and his love for power. Gabriel stole Odalis and because Gabriel saw dark magic talents in Arawn he did not kill him but corrupted him and made him into a feared man, which Shizkovanians still shudders when they hear the name Arawn the Disturbed.
Gabriel and Arawn seized city by city until only three cities and the Capital Old Faithful was still in the hands of Drynwyn and the Shiskovanians. Drynwyn and his brother Fflewddur did all they could to stop Gabriel and Arawn. Fflewddur and a small army set out to the nearest city that belonged to Gabriel. Connor, the youngest son of Drynwyn joined his uncle. Drynwyn and Hugh stayed to defend the four remainder cities.
On their way, Fflewddur and his army were ambushed. They were sieged for days. Only Fflewddur, his niece Connor, and ten of his men were still alive.
One night Gabriel’s minion decided to do their last attack but in the middle of their planning’s they were attacked by King Drynwyn. Fflewddur and his small force heard the battle so they joined in. Drynwyn saved his son and five other men. But it costed his life. His brother who was always beside him in that battle tried to save him but was badly wounded and died three days later because of his wounds.
Connor blinded by his fury grabbed his father sword and rode in horse to Gabriel’s lair, and killed anyone that got into his way. Connor slained Gabriel and gave Arawn a chance to escape and Connor recovered the staff.
Connor came back as a hero. But since his oldest brother Hugh was oldest he was given the thrown.
The Second Golden Age
For five years they took back the remainder cities. The economy was terrible, so Hugh worked only on the economy and did not give mind of making a bigger army incase Arawn come back.
Hugh Acosta Heffner mad a lot of trades with nearby allies. The trades boosted the economy to a high peak, and Hugh also completed what his father could not do, expand The Lands of the Shizkov.
Connor of the Saints married first than his brother. He married, Alexandra Llyr, they had three children, two boys and one girl. Connor Jr. was the oldest, Gwydion the youngest. Eilowny the only girl.
When Eilowny was borne, Hugh Acosta Heffner married Faith D’Dios. She died giving birth to their only child, Grace Acosta D’Dios.
While Hugh was working on the economy, Connor senior was en-charged of the army. The army was well trained and well disciplined.
At that time their economy and army grew so powerful that it was called The Second Golden Age.
When Connor Jr. hit ages five, he was kidnapped and no one knows where he is now. Grace at age sixteen she was named Queen because Hugh died young because of a disease. She was well trained in the world of magic and because of that she was given the Odalis.
Lord Gwydion trained with one of the best sword fighter and philosopher war and politic wise, that he became one of the Kingdom diplomats. Gwydion made their Kingdom a good defense and was known as “The Bull”.
Gwydion closest officer norMAN is general of the Kingdom. Believed by many that he lost his mind in the battle field, but he is still genius.
